The following categories cannot be returned or refunded once production or usage has commenced:

• Bespoke / Custom-Commissioned Rugs: Carpets dyed, sized, or hand-knotted specifically to bespoke client specifications (unless defective).
• Used or Altered Goods: Rugs showing visible signs of household wear, liquid spills, pet odors, or fiber cutting.
• Items Missing Original Tags: Rugs returned without original loom authenticity tags or protective export wrappings.

4. Natural Handmade Variations (Not Defects)

Every Knotiq carpet is hand-knotted or hand-tufted by rural Indian artisans using natural wool and pure mulberry silk. The following characteristics are hallmarks of authentic craftsmanship and are not considered defects:

• Minor sizing variance of up to ±3% due to organic loom tension.
• Subtle organic dye abrash (natural shade variations that give vintage and oriental carpets their depth).
• Initial shedding of loose wool fluff during the first 2–4 vacuuming cycles.
• Packaging roll creases that naturally dissipate within 3–5 days of laying flat.
